Avant Garde JDS (Prototype)

YoYoFactory - Avant Garde Prototype

The avant-garde shape of the body is a feature of this prototype of the Japan Design Studio series.

The Avant Garde, with its characteristic inwardly gouged shape called an "undercut," has been reissued for the first time in 12 years, designed by SUS Yo-Yo Mechanics.

This prototype has a bowl-shaped face like the Horizon and Marco. The characteristic shape combined with the distinctive face seems like it would create an unusual weight distribution. Its actual presence in the hand creates a sensation that could be described as a floating feeling, but it's a really dreamy throw. Avant Garde is a yo-yo with an "inexpressible sense of discomfort" that is somehow addictive.

The face is a smooth bowl shape, so fingerspin tricks are possible (if you are good at it).

This is a prototype. The design may change greatly in the final version.
