A pure organic from Atmos Projects, stripped down to nothing but lightness and smoothness.
The Abel is the latest addition to Atmos Projects' featherweight organics line, drawing directly from the lineage of the Noah while taking a deliberate step toward simplicity. Where the Noah accommodated Side Effects (interchangeable components that allow for fine-tuned weight distribution), the Abel forgoes that system entirely. It's designed for the player who prefers to pick up a yo-yo and throw it as it comes, without the need to tinker. A straightforward banger, straight out of the box.
Machined from 6061 aluminum, the Abel carries a slightly center-biased weight distribution that maximizes the floaty, lightweight feel the design is built around. A small nub at the center of the cup serves as a nod to earlier Side Effects-compatible designs, and adds a subtle accent to the otherwise unbroken curves of the hub.
The Abel plays exactly as intended: light, floaty, and exceptionally smooth. Atmos Projects describes the feel as glass, and the spin lives up to that description. It's a pure, simple expression of what a round organic can be.
